Why do my car windows open all by themselves?

I returned to my car to find all of the windows open. Is there a fault with the motors used to open/close the windows? The car is a SEAT Leon.

It could be due to water getting into the locking ECU inside the driver's door, or can be due to sitting on the key and engaging the 'global' window opening function.
