Keep both cars on the same policy is your best bet, most insurers will allow you to do this for 30 days. If you have removed the old car, you have shot yourself in the foot. The best thing to then do is look at companies like www.dayinsure.com/
Though you would have paid significantly less by keeping both on the same policy.
