I bought a car advertised as in ‘perfect working order’ but it's faulty - what are my rights?
I bought a car two weeks ago that was advertised as in ‘perfect working order’ and now find it has three issues, one of which I have repaired. I have broken down twice and the second time the fix is expensive. The man I bought it from isn’t accepting responsibility at all and won’t offer anything, even when I have said I’ll take him to court. I wouldn’t expect a car in ‘perfect working order’ to break down within two weeks. I thought I could legally return the car or ask for damages? What are my rights as I’m getting mixed info so far?

Because he advertised the car as "perfect working order" and it plainly isn't you can use the Small Claims track of the County Court to sue him for Breach of Contract. Appraise him of this fact. Small Claims: www.gov.uk/make-court-claim-for-money.
