My car was damaged while being repaired - will this show as a further insurance claim?
My car is in for a repair with Solus, (owned by Aviva). I was informed that the repair would be completed by a certain date and my car returned back to me. I received a call however to tell me that while being repaired it had actually sustained damage to one of the doors (caused by a dropped tool) and that it would take a few days extra until this is repaired. I've spoken to Aviva and they have assured me that this will not show as any further claim or repair against my policy but is there any action that you would recommend that I take from here?

As long as you are happy with the repair, you should not need to do anything. Solus is very good, as this situation shows, when they do drop a clanger, the make you aware and sort the issue out. They are generally very easy to deal with. Should you have any issues, raise it with the Solus centre your dealing with.
