What medium sized quiet SUV with a torque converter automatic do you suggest?
I am looking for a small/medium quiet SUV with a torque converter or CVT gearbox that also has a reasonable size boot. What do you suggest?

The new Honda CR-V is available with a CVT gearbox and should be very reliable. It's very practical but not cheap. Also look at the smaller HR-V.
