Will the fact my car has been classified a Cat N write off affect the price of insurance?

My car was hit last year and although there isn’t much damage it wasn’t economical to fix so the other party’s insurance covered the cost of repair (my insurance weren’t involved). The car wasn’t repaired as (in my opinion) it drives fine and wouldn’t have been worth fixing. I renewed my car insurance last week but there was no option on the quote to add that it’s a Cat N - would this cause issues with my insurance? And if I told them would it increase my premiums?

It will not affect your policy or premium in any way, though it would affect the value of the car in the event it was a total loss again. You have no need to inform them.
