Too many cars
I own a 1996 Volvo 940 Estate 2.3 SE with 133k on the clock, a Citroen Berlingo Forte 1.9 diesel on an 02 plate with 68k, and my wife owns a Nissan Micra 1.0 se with 34k.
We need to consolidate and I am thinking about trading in the Berlingo and Micra for a pre owned Toyota Corolla Verso and maybe keeping the Volvo because its worth £500 and costs very little to run. Should I go for a diesel or petrol Verso? Mileage will be no more than 8 to 10k per year.

As long as the Verso doesn't have a diesel particulate filter, go for diesel.

I like the X-Type but hate DPFs. Do any early X-Types come without them? I don't expect any estates are free from them.
