My car needs new alloy wheels as they have corroded - is the manufacturer liable?
My Kia Rio failed an MoT on a faulty airbag device. This had to be replaced and recalibrated at a cost of £500. My seven-year warranty ran out in March although I have only done 7500 miles, not the 10000 they also quote. It also now needs four new wheels as they have corroded so badly the tyres won't stay inflated. Do I have any chance of getting my money back from Kia?

Sale of Goods supplier (e.g dealer) and manufacturer liability end after six years. Kia generously offers a seven-year warranty so has already exceeded that. If the airbag fault had been the subject of a recall, you would be entitled to the repair FoC, but there are no safety recalls recorded for a 2012 Kia Rio.
