I'm selling my car and finding that asking for comprehensive insurance before a test drive is putting buyers off before they even see the car. I understand that their own insurance will be third party only so any accident damage will not be covered. Is there anything I can do?

It is quite simply not your problem. It is an offence to let them drive the car uninsured. If they want to test drive your car, then need to get day insurance. There is no excuse these days, you can insure a car for as a little as an hour. What I do is advise I will gladly drive the car for them and they can be a passenger.
