How can I stop being cold called by people asking if I've been involved in an accident?
I keep being phoned and told that I have been involved in an accident that was not my fault. My response is that I have not had an accident and please do not phone again. They always do. Is this sort of cold calling illegal and is there anything I can do to stop being pestered?

Yes, it is illegal. Yes, it has been banned. But that does not stop call centres calling you. You can try and block the numbers or register with the telephone preference service (TPS).
