Driving me Knuts

In early September I visited Guy Salmon my local Land Rover dealer in Knutsford having read a good review of the new Discovery 4. There was a very nice example in the showroom and I requested literature and an option / price list. These were not available (at launch) and would be posted to me. Nothing arrived by end of September so when I looked at the model at the Southampton Boat Show I made a point of mentioning my disappointment to the Land Rover UK staff there. A brochure would definitely be in the post. Today, over a month later and no response from Land Rover, I have visited Guy Salmon again. Once more, literature is not available but “there is a telephone number for ordering it". Now, I'm not saying I would have bought one, but the internet is no substitute for a cosy evening with brochure and option list so if Land Rover have similarly treated other prospective and keen buyers like myself, then they must have limited their chances of possible sales and even their continued existence.

Brochures can be out of date as soon as they leave the printers. If you go here:
www.landrover.co.uk/gb/en/vehicles/discovery-3/ove...m , you can not only fully inspect the car and its options, you can request a brochure. Most modern businesses are now Internet based.
