Do I still accumulate no claims if my insured car is SORN'd?

If I have an insurance policy on a now SORN'd car, do I get to keep the remaining no claims bonus after transferring? If my policy runs out while on the SORN car, would the accumulated months still count towards my no claims?

If you have accrued no claims bonus, they are valid for three years, even if you do not have a vehicle. Accumulated months do not lead a "full years" no claims. You only accrue the full year after it has passed.
