Smoke and mirrors
I own 1999 Honda Insight hybrid that was imported from Japan. It's my third Insight. My question is, why has the DVLA given my car a 145g/km rating when my previous two had a 80g/km rating? The engine is 995cc so it doesn't make sense. They surely have made a mistake and I am paying higher road tax than I should? What do you think?

Because it's a 1999 and CO2 based taxation does not start until 2001 Y reg. All tax changes have to start somewhere.
