Life begins at 60

Suffering, what may appear to be a mid-life crisis, me and my partner have decided to remove from our driveway one of our more sedate cars and plump for a sports type convertible. However looking at the possible candidates there seems to be only one, basically the Mazda MX-5. Do you have any advice on other options, which we may consider, clearly the MX-5 has a long and illustrious career and would seem to be the obvious candidate.

Only the MGTF, now being built again at Longbridge. The cabin is a bit more roomy, with more upright seats. But I'd go for an MX-5 any day.

A great sports car. Incredibly nimble. Responsive steering. Easy to live with day to day. Comparatively inexpensive to run. Roof is easy to fold down.
