Crash decision
I just had an altercation with a 44-foot lorry. I drove a VW Polo that, although it may be a write off now, protected me. It is just over three years old with 16,500 miles and served me well since new. I have recently been considering buying a new car and had looked at the Alfa Romeo MiTo as it looks unusual, but claims to be very safe and secure. Also the Golf and MINI, but these appear a bit pricey. Have you any suggestions as my knowledge about cars is very limited.

The MiTo’s complex electronic systems make it very difficult to get
yourself into trouble in one, especially the lower powered versions. And, though beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, to my eyes it looks
fantastic. The FIAT 500 and 500C convertible also offer 5 star crash protection Video tests of them, the MiTo, the new Golf, the latest MINI and the new Polo at www.honestjohn.co.uk
