Taking a shine
For a fee of £150 (apparently a discount from the normal £300), our Ford garage has offered us a service called Jewelultra Diamnondbrite for our new Focus. This involves applying a variety of coatings to the exterior and interior surfaces, keeping everything from the paintwork to the carpets clean and stain-free - polishing is, apparently, never required. The brochure gives glowing promises such as: "Lifetime guarantee on paintwork," "Lifetime guarantee on fabric and carpets," "No need to polish your car again," and "Maintain that 'straight from the showroom' look." Have you head of this service and do you think it is worth the money? I would really welcome your advice.
