Tucked away

An elderly friend of ours has a November 2000X FIAT Seicento SX 899cc with only 34,000 on the clock. It is in good condition with no rust, but it has been sitting in her garage for the last couple of years since her husband died, and the MoT and tax have lapsed. She now wants rid of it out of her garage. Any idea of what if anything it is worth to her?

The petrol tank will probably have rusted through, or be about to. The car is worth very little. Perhaps a couple of hundred pounds, because
you don't know how much it will cost to MoT. Might need new brake discs, new exhaust system, new cat converter, as well as a new petrol tank, and if it hasn’t been SORNd then penalties will be due.
