Unbelievable deal
My son in law has advertised his Honda Accord in Autotrader and has been offered the full price of £7,000, sight unseen, by a buyer in Guernsey. He has sent a bank draft for this, plus £4,000 shipping costs. This seems too good to be true - any idea where the catch is?

Yes, it is too good to be true. These drafts will later be rescinded using a loophole in UK anti-moneylaundering legislation and he will be left with nothing. Return the drafts to the sender. Take payment only by Moneygram, by Western Union, or by Cash.
