A misfueller and his money are soon parted
Does wrong fuelling, in this case putting petrol in a diesel, result in permanent damage to the engine if it is driven until it breaks down? The car is a Toyota Previa 2005 diesel.

Probably. If the injection pump has seized as a result of lack of lubricity that will cost about £2,000 to replace. If shards of metal from it have damaged the injectors, they are £300 - £500 apiece. You can buy gizmos that ape the Ford Easyfuel system at £30 each and
