Astra/Corsa camshaft problems

Considering buying a 2008 Vauxhall Astra 1.4 or Corsa 1.2, but hear horror stories of camshaft failures due to the loosening of camshaft retaining bolts on both of these twin-port engines.

Is this problem restricted to earlier years, or is this a continuing inherent fault with these engines?

Never a problem with the Corsa D from 2006. Only with the Corsa C.
