Keeping my DPF healthy

I am not a high mileage driver.

How do I prevent problems with the diesel particulate filter on this vehicle?

No reports of any problems with the DPFs on this vehicle yet. But what you must avoid is repeated short funs from cold starts. Do not start the car from cold, drive less than a mile, stop, and then start it up again and drive less then a mile, etc. Unless you drive some distance, the DPF cannot get hot enough to burn off all the soot it has collected from the cold starts and will clog up.
