Economical small car with space for a wheelchair
I am looking to buy a small-medium size car. I currently drive an automatic Corsa (07 plate) but I am finding it only does 40 mpg.
The car needs to have room for an average size wheelchair in the boot and would like something more fuel-effiecient than the Corsa. On average I drive 8,000 miles a year.

Hyundai i10 1.2. You don't say if it has to be auto, but an i10 auto should do 45mpg. A manual will do 50.
