360,000 mile Mondeo
I have seen a 2004 Ford Mondeo 2.0 TDCi for sale that I am interested in. It is VERY high milage (360,000) but it has been serviced four times a year (24 stamps in the book) and it is only (just over) £1000. Overall the car is in very good condition and has 12 months mot and comes with a six month warranty. Is it worth buying?

It's only £1,000. It could run and run. I'd take the gamble. If it turns out to be a bad bet, all you have lost is £1,000. What you must not do is start paying for expensive repairs. You will never get that money back.
