Reimporting a car from Spain
Three years ago I exported a 2-year-old Mitsubishi Shogun Pinin to Spain. I paid Spanish duty etc and registered it on Spanish plates. I have used it myself in Spain since then.
I am now considering bringing it back to the UK and re registering it back on UK plates. Is this a relatively simple process? Will I have to pay UK duty again?

No, you won't have to pay UK VAT. But you will have to pay the £55 registration fee, and you might have to pay the high first year CO2 based VED.
