How long should brake discs last?
Front brake discs and pads replaced by BMW 18 months/approx 12,000 miles ago.
Now they appear to have warped, causing vibration/juddering when braking at speeds above 50 mph.
Independent garage says no problem with wheels or brake callipers sticking, etc. The car is not left standing with wet discs (e.g. after washing) - there does not seem to be significant corrosion.
Could you kindly tell me whether it is reasonable to expect discs to last longer than this? The first set had been fine for over 70,000 miles! Do I have any legal comeback?

They might need skimming in situ.
