Windscreen demist with the engine off

Can you tell me if BMW 5 Series 2.0D SE has a system to demist the front screen without the engine running? Or was this something they used to have?

No. Where would the heat come from? Years ago, BMW Bauer cabriolets had an electric fan heater for the rear screen, but that's the only thing close to your description I can think of.
