When push comes to Chevrolet
We have always thought it best to go to a dealer we trust rather than one offering 'the best deals'. Having bought Rover cars from our trusted local dealer we were naturally saddened when Rover ceased to trade and have since bought a Volvo V50 but have not been impressed by the nearest dealer. (Too expensive and superficial.)
Our old dealer now has a Chevrolet franchise and we would like to go back to him when we change cars but have not seen any mention in your column about this range. Have we missed it or don't they rate a mention? Would you recommend any of them? We'd like to change to something a bit higher seated (to make it easier for our creaking joints) and slightly narrower (so it would fit our garage better).
Our usage is mainly just around town with occasional long journeys. We would welcome your comments.

The Chevrolet Cruze is actually ok. A sort of cut-price Astra with simpler rear suspension, but very sensibly priced.
