Nissan 350Z advice
I notice that there are quite a few 2003 to 2005 Nissan 350Z coupes available in the £7k-£8k price range. Some have quite high mileages, one being 158,000 miles, but more typically 60k to 80k.
I don't have a fortune to spend, but, with a couple of years of earning left, I would like to inject some fun back into my motoring. I know that running costs are not cheap, but would a car like this be a money pit and would it be relatively easy to pass on in a year/18 month’s time?

They tend to go through clutches, and tyres of course. Engines don’t take kindly to being thrashed. And you can expect 20 - 25mpg at best. But the 280 and 300 models are generally better than the later 313s.
