Can single people add others to their insurance policy as named drivers?
Are there any situations where singles could reduce car insurance by adding other named drivers to our policies, such as brothers, sisters etc? If not possible, isn't this action just a bit 'spousist'? What about equality?

They have to live close enough to you to reasonably be able to use the car. If you lived in London you could not reduce your cover by naming an uncle in Edinburgh as a driver, for example.
