Renewed interest
I'd advise long-standing AA members to make sure they are getting the best price each year. I was quoted £176.56 this month for my annual roadside, homestart, relay renewal and saw £99 quoted on the web for new members. (RAC were offering £99 too for similar cover). The AA quickly adjusted the price when I rang them. I confess I have been rather lazy about this over the years (24 of them) and it might have cost me dearly. I'd just advise fellow drivers to shop around. It might sound a drag but it might save you a lot of money.

It's standard Private Equity Firm practice to use this tactic. Also applies to insurance. Soon as you kick up, they relent. But they rely on a percentage simply paying.
