Why are road signs painted on road surfaces being allowed to fade?
I was cut up on a roundabout by a car that was supposed to turn right. Sure enough, when I checked, the right-hand arrow on the road had been almost obliterated due to wear and tear. I have certainly noticed that road markings are fast disappearing. This makes it difficult when negotiating roundabouts, especially those with lights when you can easily end up in the wrong lane.

Very true. This must be causing crashes and the authority responsible for the road must be liable. I have not yet heard of any legal cases, though.
