Migrate expectations
To get away from our recent horrid winters we have rented a house in the southern hemisphere from January to March 2012. My car, a 2008 Audi 2.7D auto, will be left on our drive for this period. Are there any precautions I should take whilst it is left undriven for this period of time (I would prefer not to disconnect the battery as this will mean a complete reset back at the garage). When left previously for five weeks, it still started first time.

Take it for a long drive of over 20 miles before you leave it. Switch everything off at the unit. Radio at the radio. Heater at the heater. Switch off the interior light completely. Overpressure the tyres by about 10PSI to help prevent them from flatspotting.
