Where there’s a wheel there’s a way

I have a Skoda Yeti 1.2TSI 105 Elegance, which I unfortunately accepted with 17" wheels (having tried to order it unsuccessfully on 16s). I am unhappy with the ride, which I believe is not helped by the 17s. Is there any way, reasonably economically, to get it onto 16" wheels?

You will have to buy a set of 16" wheels and tyres, then sell your 17s on eBay.

I am buying a new Skoda Yeti 1.2 TSI SE. However, they only come with 17-inch wheels, would it be OK to fit 16s? I know they would give a softer ride.
