Buying a car cover
I am looking to buy a car cover for my brand-new Megane Coupe-Cabriolet (latest model). I came across a couple of suppliers on the internet, one of them told me on the phone that he could not recommend to me to use a car cover on a brand new car because he said that the car cover could damage the paintwork of my new car.
This supplier of car covers said that I should only use car covers on cars of 2 years or older. Is it true that a car cover can damage the paint work on a brand new car? Can you please recommend a suitable car cover for my Megane Coupe-Cabriolet as Renault does not sell car covers for its models?

I use a Dupont Tyzek cover that I bought from Halfords nearly 4 years ago. Bith in the garage and outside. Though breathable, it still sees condensation between the car body and itself, and that can cause watermarks on the paint.
