Sixteen days ago I took delivery of a new car. I traded in my previous car with a personal number plate that I wanted to transfer to the new vehicle. Now, I have my personal number plate on the car, have received from the DVLA my new tax disc, the refund due on the old tax disc and notification I no longer own my previous car.

My insurers, LV, without any extra cost to me, have issued three separate certificates of insurance during the trnafer process. The DVLA and LV have given me sterling service.
