Is this a fair price for a Skoda Fabia?

I have been quoted £8994 as a price for a Skoda Fabia 1.6 TDI CR 90 elegance. The car was registered in May 2010 and has done 5000 miles. Is this a good price and what do you think about this model of car?

That's a low price. Book retail for a 10 reg with 24k miles is £10,000, trade book with 24k miles is £8,775. I don't like the car or the engine, but that's another matter.

Decently built and good value. Cheap to run. Greenline models are very economical with low CO2 emissions.
