Failled steering rack on day old new car

I purchased a brand new car two weeks ago on the way home my husband complained of the steering feeling really heavy. We checked tyres and iDrive but could see no fault. We got home and I took the car and had no control of the steering wheel. We contacted BMW assist and they came the next day the car was taken away for 6 days and a new steering rack and missing coil replaced. Since then my confidence in the car is ZERO. I would like the car replaced as I did not plan on buying a new car with faulty steering. So do not understand why I should except that.

If they have fixed the car you have no right to reject it.
