Fiesta 1.6 TDCi reliability

I am looking to buy a nearly new car with as low mileage as possible and budget is up to £11K. I have been drawn to the Fiesta 1.6 Zetec TDCi due to its good reviews and fuel economy but have heard talk of reliabilty issues. Does the 1.6 TDCi suffer from reliability issues and is there any other car you would recommend as an alternative?

There was a reliability issue with the 1.6 TDCi built between 2004 and 2008. No problem with the latest 8v engine. And it doesn't have a dual mass flywheel.
