Missing service records

I bought my car from a trader who advertised it has he had just taken it in. car is in very good condition. i have had the car 5 weeks rang him 4 times about service records. he keeps saying he will get them from the previous owner. i have on my bill of sale he signed to say they would follow on but i am having no luck with him what do you suggest?

Tell him you will cancel the deal if you don't get them because the car is "not of satisfactory quality" without them and, because he promised them. He is also in breach of contract if he does not supply them.
