Another John - not so honest!

We went to see a car in Essex advertised as 10,000 miles, one previous owner, climate control and full Ford history. The dealers name was John.

Me: "But this car has done 12,600 miles"
Dealer: "Well I told you on the phone that I used it to go to Devon over the Easter week-end".
Me: "You said one previous owner but there are two names on the V5".
Dealer: That's correct, one previous owner before the last one".
Me: "Your advert says Climate Control but this is standard air conditioning.
Dealer: "It's the same thing, with one you dial the temperature and with the other you turn a knob"
Me: I looked at the service record for 'Full Ford Service' and saw that the last service was not by a Ford dealer. At that point I walked away!

This guy is screaming at you to walk away - unless you're a masochist.
