Modifications and Insurance - is there an industry standard?
Is there a standard list of accessories which don't have to be declared as modifications to the insurance company? I added a rev counter to my Aygo as my 17 year old is being taught how to change gears using a rev counter. Esure don't count it as a modification, however LV do and won't allow me to add a 17 year old onto a car with a modification.
I may have to remove the rev counter when he passes the test just to insure him (he is currently on a seperate learners policy).
