Audi Electric Parking Brake
Hi John
My local Independent Garage has diagnosed faulty motors on my A6 electronic parking break. It says both motors need replacing. This seems like a coincidence that they both fail simultaneously. Can they be tested and replaced separately? Also can you suggest a supplier of this part as the Garage says they can only be sourced from Audi?
Many thanks

These motors sit on the wheel hubs in very hostile conditions and eventually moisture finds its way in. One motor may have failed some time ago and the car may only have been braked by the other side until that, too, failed. An independent parts factor should be able to find out who makes them and then order them from the maker rather than from Audi.
