What would you recommend as a replacement following a faithful Corsa 1.4 auto (R reg)? It needs 5 doors, reasonable boot space, flexible driver's seat to accommodate a fairly short driver, should be fun to drive and not look like an 'old man's' car.

A manual petrol model is required and the Fiat Bravo appeals but can only be seen rarely and with larger engines and 1.4 or thereabouts is required. The top limit is £6,000 although £5,000 would be better. It's for a thirty-something driver.
