Mazda 2 ABS Fault
I have an 08 plate Mazda 2 1.5 Sport. I bought it about 14 months ago from a Mazda dealership. It has a full Mazda service history and has now covered 35000 miles from new. The ABS warning light came on and the local Mazda dealer diagnosed a fault with the ABS control unit (fault code C0044DSCHU/CM) and quoted £1161 to fix it.
I was far from happy with this situation and they now tell me that Mazda will contribute to bring the cost down to £812. Is this a reasonable offer from Mazda in your opinion, or should I press for more, or perhaps look at one of the independent fixes you recommend such as www.sinspeed.co.uk? Any advice will be very much appreciated.

Check out the independent fixes. If this is no more than the brake pressure sensor it can be fixed much more cheaply.
