What type of small car can my husband drive with an automatic licence?

My husband can only drive an automatic car, but some of the newer small cars are technically automatic/manual combined. Can he drive these? I don't really wish to drive an automatic if there is a way around this! I love my Honda Jazz, but can he drive the brand new model? Thanks

He can drive anything with two pedals, so that includes automated manuals. Don't recommend them, but he can drive them.

Please help me choose between a Honda Jazz i-Shift and a Honda Jazz CVT. Which is more reliable? I can spend £3000 and I want the most reliable car. It doesn't matter if it is the first generation or second.
