SEAT Leon water ingress

The car windows always steam in my Leon. I'm told this is a design fault. It has lead to the airbag sensors corroding under my seats. Have you ever hurd of this problem?

The damp proof membranes inside the doors eventually fail and need replacing. But the most likely cause of water ingress is via the pollen filter because the waterproof cover to it may not have been re-installed correctly when the filter was replaced.
