Whiny Yaris?
I have noted in your Yaris article that the manual gearbox suffers from a whine. Is this whine something that is to be accepted or is it best to repair? Do you know what causes the whine?

Eventually most manual transmissions in most small cars suffer some degree of whine as the bearings begin to wear. Good idea to refill the transmission with fully synthetic transmission oil or to add a transmission oil additive such as STP.
