Sat Nav not accepting 7-digit post codes
I contacted Mercedes-Benz after reading here that someone had complained to them that their Sat Nav wouldn't accept a full postcode and they upgraded his unit. When I contacted them about my 2011 E-Class Cabriolet I was told that my Audio 50 APS could not be upgraded and that the unit in that previous case was a Command.
They say it is not a software issue but due to the unit itself. I pointed out that my wife drives a 2010 A-Class with Audio 50 APS and it takes all 7 digits. They say they can't help. What else can I do?

Nothing. If a unit is designed to find less precise 4 digit postcodes it usually cannot be upgraded to find more precise 7 digit codes. Command satnav is designed for 7 digit codes but comes set up for 4 digit codes. That's why it can be upgraded.
