Carens start up issues?
I have a Kia Carens on an 06 plate, and very good it is.
It has an intermittent and very odd starting problem, where it starts fine but will not rev.
Once started if I leave it idling at say 1,000RPM for maybe 2 - 3 minutes, then it will rev and I'm off. If I try to rev it before it's ready, it splutters and coughes and dies.
Next day it's back to normal for a while, then it will give me a hard time when I least expect it.
The electronic gizmo at the garage finds no fault, so do you have any idea what I should look for?

The fuel isn't getting through. Most likely something is stopping the electric throttle from opening; possibly a malfunctioning heat sensor. Or there's a fault with the fuel tank sender pump, its relay or the earth to its relay, leaving the engine only to run on the fuel already through.
