Is Texaco premium fuel any good?

I asked some months ago about the advantages of Shell/BP Premium Diesel and I followed your advice and use premium.

One of my nearby Shell filling stations has changed to Texaco and Texaco Premium has come out as best buy on my weekly PetrolPrices.com e-mail (5p per litre difference).

Does Texaco have the same advantages as Shell/BP - is it as beneficial. The saving on usual 45 litre fillup will pay for Saturdays Daily Telegraph.

Texaco 98Ron used to be called CleanSystem 3 and was actually warranted to keep a car's fuel system clean. They no longer warrant it but it probably has the same additives.
